HERO

Today I have the honor of being the Guest Designer at CASology for Week 235!

This week's theme is HERO

My card used CTMH stamps from the Home of the Brave set (now retired). Inks used are Sweet Leaf, Slate and Black. Stitched die from Simon Says Stamp.

There are many beautiful creations from the CASology Design Team. It's really fun to see all the ways the cue is interpreted!  Go be inspired at CASology.

XXOO

The blogs are giving me the help I need to create my Valentine greetings!  Curtain Call inspiration made me think of a favorite set, A Game (CTMH, retired).  My grandsons adore tic/tac/toe and we made whole game booklets using this stamp, and a travel version also.  A little heart change-up, and it's a Valentine ♥

Valentine

My card today used a lot of snippets of stash paper and a lovely die, Heart Parade, from Simon Says Stamp, and also the stitched panel from SSS. The sentiment is from a retired CTMH clear stamp set. A few Pretty Posh sequins provide some sparkle. Linked to Paper Players #330

Love, Hearts & Flowers

Time to be sending out some love and smiles to family and friends!
There is plenty of inspiration out there. I found some at Just Add Ink #345 and
Dragonfly Dreams "Hearts and Flowers" theme, and Addicted to Stamps #141 'Love' theme.

I used  CTMH card stock, embossing folder and stamps; Stitched Circle dies from SSS; and Hero Arts white embossing powder; and some stash patterned paper for the smaller circle.
My old camera is just not performing well in this winter light, but the close up is a better view.

Hello again

Wow, not sure where the last half of January went...I was marching, signing petitions, calling elected officials....and somehow my mojo has been really stuck.  I spent an afternoon trying to create a card for Darnell's second week of NBUS - use hidden word technique, only to realize that while I had used the technique I hadn't used  'never before used schtuff"!! haha  My mind has definitely been elsewhere.  And my furnace has been kaput for nine days...it's cold here and new one isn't arriving until next Monday.  Am I whining?  oops.

Anyway, here is that hidden word card.  The word doesn't look hidden in the photo because the Wink of Stella is shining bright on it.  I cut the word from a piece of wax paper resist scrap left from some experiments a few weeks ago.  It really was very hidden inlaid, so I winked it up.  I love how the card looks.
