Coffee!

This is the Stella Says Sketch #106 at Bugaboo Stamps. I've used my favorite gal Mildred. Looking at it in the photo, I think it needs some liquid glass on the eyeglasses. The paper is CTMH Crystal Blue, colored with Crystal and Chocolate.

Spring

At least the calendar says so. So cold and rainy here it's difficult to tell. But if I make it...it will come, right? This card uses CTMH Lucy paper and the My Peeps stamp set(B1402, only $9.95). I love this set! Vicki W. posted a gorgeous black and white card here with this banner design, and I've wanted to try it. I've also used some of the new twine from CTMH.

The eggs were stamped in archival black and colored with CTMH markers. Colors used for paper and inks are Creme Brulee, Cotton Candy and Sweet Leaf. Banners were cut using the CTMH AP Cricut cartridge.

It's Green!

Challenges:

Sweet Stampin - Use green and lots of it
Cardabilities Sketch #51

Lots of fun challenges on the blogs this week....and so little time for me to play. Sweet Stampin said use green, "lots of it." I know this isn't a very spring green, but I love the rich color of CTMH Ponderosa. The patterned paper is a very old retired set that I love and there are just a few treasured pieces left. I made the flower looping strips - I learned this from Aaron Brown here. It's so quick and easy! I plan on using this more. The inside has a white layer with the other piece of the circle.

Some birthday wishes

Had big plans for creating my workshop...trying out a few challenges...instead I made three birthday cards as I cleaned up my room. Then my darling grandsons came and I had some serious playing to do! It was a sleep-over and after all morning at the new Children's Museum, and cleaning up the house post-children....well, now it's time for my school work. Not as much fun as kids and/or paper :-) The white piece on the candle card slides through two slits in the purple, si it can come out and serve as a bookmark. Other than that, these are simple.
